Saw a color coded map recently that depicted red and blue by county...the blue portions were only in large city areas where populations could be easily controlled and directed to vote. Strange.
Yep. And the union mentality in those cities is strong. Especially in Pittsburgh, Scranton and Johnstown. Philly is where Rendell is from. His thugs pretty much control that city.
My county includes the hometown of Jimmy Stewart. A strong conservative republican. We are still very conservative - even with a 15,000 student state university in our midst.
Not really. The taxes to maintain city infrastructure and services must be huge, at least until the pork barrel is opened up. Pork barrel promises buy votes, and cities are ripe for that. City folks tend to be more apt to rely on service providers than do for themselves as well. (City water, sewer, garbage collection, snow removal, police, etc... )
