I think it’s the GOP not the people. I think the people would let some things get by like Foley and Craig.
Then you have the leftist screaming to get rid of our ‘unethical’ people
and the GOP CAVES.
The left get to keep and reward the most corrupted people ever
because the GOP CAVES.
We need new GOP Republicans, period.
Yeah, you got a good point.
We need new R blood.
as long as you mean Sarah Palin's idealogy and not limiting that to Sarah Palin as a candidate then I am somewhat OK with your statement
When you make a big deal out of family values and corruption and then your own politicians don’t live up to those standards, then you’re asking for trouble. The voters think ‘hypocrites’ and pull the level for the other team. The GOP is right to get rid of such politicians when they make significant mistakes.
What are significant mistakes?
Being queer is a significant mistake?
What other ethical significant mistakes has the R’s had?
How many tax cheats are there in the R party? Just asking.

But, then why would a conservative Republican reject someone as amazing as Sarah Palin ?
Yes, he was a B-24 Liberator pilot during WWII and did an exemplary role in combat. You have to give the devil his dues for that.
John Glenn was a great fighter pilot, with 3 Mig kills, during the Korean War. Duke Cunningham was a great fighter pilot in Vietnam before he sold his sole in Congress. It is difficult to explain why some folks turn sour after such great service to our country.
No, public sex and going after pages are what I was talking about.
While I can never accept the leftward vision he proposes I respect George McGovern for his valorous service to America in WW2, for the fact that his positions are based on principle ,and for the fact that he is willing to engage in debate, as he often did with Barry Goldwater, his friend, and with Bill Buckley. I can't say this about most Dems, but George McGovern loves his country.
Michelle Malkin is great. Why she lets Allahpundit throw brickbats at people whose socks he isn't fit to wash is a mystery to me.
CPAC raised the Diamond Level entry from $450 to $750 in one year. You'd think Nancy Pelosi was in charge with an increase in cost like that.
I had a “disagreement” with David Keene's assistant last year after they banned Ann Coulter from speaking in the main ballroom. The woman said it was because Ann called Senator Edwards a “faggot” and CPAC got bad press the year before.
Good God, the only real Conservative Convention, outside of FR, and now they are Politically Correct and buying into the Liberal propaganda?
I had to explain to the woman that I was ten feet away from Ann when she made the comment in question and that the use of sarcasm is something only Liberals don't understand. At least I thought so until then.
I guess they are making nice nice now because Ann's speech last year to the Young Republicans group in a small Ballroom at the conference was watched by everyone on the TV sets throughout the conference, including those who left the main ballroom panel discussion to watch her.
Censorship comes to CPAC and I was the only one questioning it. Very sad if you ask me.
The guy is just a sore LOSER!
PING! FYI...good ‘nuff for ya? lol!
I didn’t see Specter’s name listed. Is Arlen Specter scheduled to speak at CPAC? If so, is there someone to contact to ask that he be reomved from his speaking slot?
“...I had a disagreement with David Keene’s assistant last year after they banned Ann Coulter from speaking in the main ballroom. The woman said it was because Ann called Senator Edwards a faggot and CPAC got bad press the year before....”
That’s an outrage! CPAC needs more guts.
My wife and I are going all the way with the pricy CPAC package that we can ill afford but we figured that the country is going down the tubes so fast that we had better start getting political again while we still have a chance.
