...we allowed socialist minded politicians and “elite academics” (in their own minds) who never did an honest days work, lived off their parents and feed at the troth of government to infiltrate our educational institutions and all levels of government to brainwash our children and grandchildren, demean the family, our Judeo-Christian values, steal our retirement, our legacy and our ability to leave our hard earned wealth to future generations.

Of the 535 members of the Congress we find but a few that shouldn't be thrown bodily into the Potomac.

Mainly the rest are unredeemable liberal pansies who jump on any bill or bandwagon that would further destroy our nation. Of these unredeemables many are outright communists, like Maxine Waters for example.

At the head of these leftists you'll find the newly elected messiah who is scrambling to get his huge takeover plan passed with minimum comment. He is the one who will complete the job of destruction and will be a much worse president than Jimmy.

What we have done is to elect to political office and entrust our children’s education to liberal elites who believe that all but themselves are incapable of making the “right” decisions in their lives. Rather than fix our own problems we have sought the government to wipe every tear, right every wrong and solve every problem. We have become content to let the liberal media tell us “that’s the way it is”. This has all come to a culmination in the election of Obama and this ultra liberal Congress. Now we are beginning to see that Reagan was right when he said that the government is the problem not the solution.

This was an excellent editorial.

I wonder how much of our drift towards socialism is due to women wanting/needing to be taken care of. When fathers/husbands disappear or don’t take leadership roles in their families, ‘scared’ women look to the nanny government to care for them and their offspring.

I believe this is one of the reasons our great society is failing. Some women, even with a well paying job, still don’t cherish their freedom and independance the way men do. And many men were more than happy to allow the government to step into their former role as leader and provider of the family. Generations of boys who won’t transition to manhood. Generations of girls who still need to ensure the survival of their children.

Christian religions teach personal responsibility along with family unity and strength. It’s the reason our government & media want to diminish the voice of Christians in our nation.
