I’ve been saying Jindal/Palin ‘12 since Sarah was thrown into the limelight. I hope it happens. Although I would hate to see such a corrupt state as Louisiana lose him. He is doing a lot of good down there. So much so that I would go back and visit if only New Orleans got rid of their racist mayor.

Had McCain won the Conservative movement would be far far worse off.

So why are we all complaining. We agree that McCain wasn't the man for the job. We had only two choices and we took Obama. That's the system we have. Not voting or a write-in for someone who hasn't a snow ball's chance in hell of winning, is not a good thing in an election with only two candidates.

I agree that McCain would not have served the conservative cause well. But we weren't given any other choice.

McCain has issued a lot of statements agreeing with Obama on a myriad.
I can find them and post them if you want.

Or just go here for a small taste:

Sorry, I’ll never vote for a near perfect Liberal.

The man says he is not and will not run for president, his parents were not citizens when he was born here. And his mother is not a citizen today, the last I read she lives in Saudi.

This post is incoherent, unsourced, and factually dubious.

America took a huge hit when McCain was nominated. This was a coup d'etat by the left who spent ten years setting him up. We can't let that happen again.

Then you should do a little research, Bucky, because it was posted here the day he said it.

As to when and where he was born, that also was posted here, source was his parents home town news paper in Indian, said his mother was six months pregnant when she moved to the united states on student visa's. If you have different facts post them are sit down.

re: Sorry, I’ll never vote for a near perfect Liberal

I have no problem with that!

One reason I would have preferred McCain to Obama is that we would have Palin as VP and the president of Senate. That could be important with the Senate as close as it is.

Carter gave us Reagan, Clinton gave us Bush. Let's see what Obama gets us!

If I were forced to pick between McCain & Obama I would have picked McCain.

I think Sarah may have dodged a bullet with McCain losing.
I think she is now in a stronger position for the future, McCain’s BS didn’t get the chance to soil her.

Bush sounded good in 2000 but I think most of us have some serious problems with his Compassionate Conservatism.

Let’s hope Obama ends up bringing us a good old fashioned Conservative in the mold of Reagan.

org.whodat is correct! Jindal parents’ came to this country when the mother was pregnant. His parents were here on student visas. I believe I saw Jindal say this on the Tonight show. I love the guy but he is not a Natural Born Citizen. He is native born, but according to the Constitution POTUS must be Natural Born Citizen.
