Need help organizing a very effective way to block the stimulus

If you want to stop the stimulus, the most effective way is to publicly embarrass one of its nationally-known supporters on video by asking them a series of tough, "prosecutorial-style" questions. When uploaded to Youtube and similar sites, that video would get hundreds of thousands or millions of views. It would have an impact on the career of the person who was asked those questions, and it would send a message to the others.

I can help edit questions for maximum impact (see my general guide), but I need someone else to start an actual campaign necessary to get people to go try and ask questions.

If anyone really wants to block the stimulus, find someone who can take ownership of this idea and who can then come up with some questions and find people in DC who can go out and ask them. At the very least, contact major bloggers and urge them to ask their visitors to go out and ask questions.

Based on past experience, I have an idea what's going to happen: some people are going to raise defeatist objections ("I might get tased!"), others are going to support the plan but not bother to do anything, and eventually nothing is going to happen.

Maybe the stimulus is bad enough that people will be able to rise above that.

Someone needs to attend Obambi’s town meetings with a camera, and tape and tape until he says something stupid, like “macaca”...

So, this will cause a Democrat to vote against it?

If you ask a Dem who’s on the fence about the stimulus a series of real questions, that will show their constituents what their representative wants to get them into. And, that will have an impact on their career and they might get off the fence.

Economics isn’t my area, but in the area I cover I know that if I had ten minutes to ask an amnesty supporter a series of questions I could come close to completely discrediting them.

I’m sure something like that is possible in this case, the only problem is, once again, getting others to do something.

I guess I’m not convinced there are any Dems who are “on the fence” - if there were, Pelosi would have shot them by now.

Just get the word out about the rationed healthcare in this bill. I just saw Larry Summers on Cavuto’s show, Wow, He looked like he was trying to sell a shamwow.

Did someone say he was smart? What an inarticulate buffoon.

Have one of those Florida folks ask Zer0 about the rationed healthcare and sharing of their medical records with the Obama government that is in the Porkulus bill.

I bet all those seniors in Florida have no idea.

OK, now someone needs to do some research and come up with a completely fact-based, fully sourced question of some kind, because I’m not familiar with these issues. For instance, “you supported rationing healthcare, which will cause [some sort of harm]. At the same time, you supported $1 billion for [some pork]. Why do you think [the pork] is more important than my healthcare?”

Cato and Heritage Foundation have resourced this. Check it out.

Well, this is now off the front page, and nothing happened. While I appreciate the tips, I can’t do everything myself and I need others to help push this idea and find people who can organize it. I guess Obama and his allies just want it more.

I’d suggest guns & ammo and a good dose of Patrick Henry.
