SPAM rocks. Turkey SPAM is pretty good, too.
I don't really fry it up...just slice off a hunk and put it on a cracker.
Good stuff.
I used to love Spam (we would use it to make our own "egg McMuffin" sandwiches instead of Canadian Bacon). Unfortunately, it is a Hormel product and we do not allow anything made by Hormel in our house (Mr. Hormel chooses to use large amounts of his company's profits to support anti-family causes).
I've been able to find alternate products to replace Spam, but sadly, about the only company that still makes pickled pig's feet (yeah, I'm weird, but I learned to like them at an early age) is Hormel, so I've had to do without them. It's not always easy to boycott some things, but oh well.
As an aside, I don't get on peoples cases if they still want to buy Hormel products (this is kind of my own little personal boycott). Sometimes, it's hard to find any other alternative brand, so please don't take my comments the wrong way. If you like Spam keep right on eating it.
