Sadly, she also looks much older than her age. Meanwhile, my 42 year old wife has been asked several times by strangers if this baby (our fourth) is her first pregnancy.

LOL. People are usually shocked when I tell them my wife is over 40. And she's had 5.

To be fair, if everything else were “fixed”, the nose wouldn’t be a big deal ... and most of the necessary fixing is spiritual.

I think the lifestyles advocated by Hef & Larry have screwed up as many if nor more people than the ones pushed by the feminists.

You are so right. And yet, there are plenty of little Hefs and Flynt's right here on FR.

Because the he-man woman-haters club comes out on every thread like this one, that’s why.

Being a strong woman and being a shrew are two completely different things, and the feminists miss the distinction entirely.

Actually she does say in the article that she doesn’t need a man, but that she wants one.

All that means is that she's 75% of the way to the Truth.

What I find shocking is that so many people here on FR are actually *bashing* her for coming out and saying this--which, in her circles, is an incredibly brave thing to do.

It's completely conterproductive and wrong to trash someone who's done and about-face and is now agreeing with you.

Encouragement is what this poor soul needs.

Yes, she’s due on the 27th, but may be coming much sooner...we may be inducing on Friday or Monday. Either will be a nice anniversary present for my folks, who will celebrate their 40th on Saturday.

May God bless and protect mother and baby. For me, the due date was always a nerve-wracking time. Hope it's easier for you!

Whatever. She and her ilk have WRECKED this world, destroyed our nation, and led us down a path where millions upon millions will DIE DIE DIE!!!

I don’t see any way around it now. The Catastrophe happened on 11-5, the CATACLYSM will be coming, I don’t know when.

No, I have no sympathy for this piece of... this person. May the Lord have mercy on her soul.

You must be reading it differently than the majority of posters on this thread, maybe you are seeing something we are all missing?

I read the entire article before I posted. She still comes across this way to me, but maybe that is my own viewpoint getting in the way. Tough to tell I guess with this kind of article.

Applause.

Feminists come in second to that.

True. A good character and a pleasant disposition make a big difference. Once you’ve got those, decent clothes and a flattering hairstyle are a very small step. Add a little well-chosen makeup, and the nose would be invisible.

I think many people are reacting to her continuing attitude that men are just not good enough for her and her friends, and yet somehow they should have children now that they’ve decided they want them. It’s VERY Maureen Dowd, and she’s not even as attractive as Maureen. (Maybe pictures of Catherine Zeta-Jones would be in order; she does know how to dress and fix her hair.)

Had it not been for a feminist mother raising her with the feminist doctrine, she might have chosen another path. And she can blame her decision making process on the influences in her life. I believe we all do, for good or for bad.

The scoundrels on this thread have probably been badly injured by feminism in one form or another and I don't blame them for their cynicism - it's the man's point of view.

I have seen up close the shipwreck of lives ruined by the doctrine of feminism. There are many victims.

Her face looks very masculine. I think she made the right choice to be a feminist.

Perhaps. But real men don't say "told you so" when someone admits their fault. And real men don't make catty comments about someone's appearance when that someone is in the process of humbling themselves.

Sorry, I still don’t agree. She has lived her live pursuing her own selfish interests and now she rues that she will be alone. Still thinking of herself, still worried about her own needs and happiness. That’s exactly what feminism is, she hasn’t changed.

She blames her mother and other feminists of her mother’s age for not telling her that eventually, she would be too old (though she actually isn’t yet). You mean to tell me that in all of her life, she never looked beyond career? It’s not as if mothers are hidden away.

Sorry, she is to blame for the way her life turned out, just as she is capable of changing it now. That is if she can get over herself.
