They should be scared.

They should have been scared last year when Obama was talking about all of this, but not in a position to implement it.

I guess their love for Obama is coming back to bite them.

That's right, Mr. Obama wants to demand free prime time coverage of his version of "Crazy Uncle Elmo Explains It All to Us." The idea would be that all four major networks would be required to simultaneously carry Obama in his Big Brother role, continuing to try to convince us that he alone has all the answers, that we can tax our way to prosperity, and that we should ignore all those felony records and charges of his Cabinet officials.

No wonder Hussein Øbama the Magnificent wants to delay the switchover to digital signal TV. That would delay the Firesign chats “explaining” his learned and superiorly educated point of view.

Good Heavens! The peasants might turn on AM radio and hear the truth if the TV goes out.

I don’t think it will be fun! Now I hear Obama also wants to control the CENSUS!...He wants to be a dictator and have control of everything, and everyone.

O has only been in office 3 weeks and he’s already done 2 primetime shows of an hour each. He made the nets cover him giving a speech to the house dems?, and a primetime news conference with obviously preselected questioners and presubmitted questions (anybody remember the last prime time presidential news conference?). At this rate we’ll probably be getting his reruns over the summer...

Insiders claim that Obama's media dweebs in Washington want to force the broadcast networks to give up either a full hour, or perhaps a half-hour, of prime time every month so The Great Obama can conduct his televised version of fireside chats.

Like I said in an earlier post, tonight's press conference of an hour of rambling about nothing had a Fidel Castro feel to it. It wouldn't surprise me that he wants to subject us to it on a regular basis. Maybe we will get extra food credits for watching that we can use in the Obama Depression.

I'll bet the lefty networks are just thrilled that they helped this Marxist bastard seize control of our country. They are learning the hard lesson that the useful idiots are the first to get lined up against the wall.

ping...

I see "someone" still refers to me as overwrought on Obama's plans for all of us... Between FEMA camps, bringing the Census into the WH and this... I don't think I'm wrong on where he is heading with all his plans for this country...

The MSM has been in the tank to one degree or another since Walter Cronkite. If Obama took them over, it would serve them right.

I don’t like the idea of it. The nation would be gone, but what can I do about it?

The left thought this was a lark. They played this off as the beginning of a new era. They played it off as chance to dis Whitey and back the Black man. Well, okay, it is a new era. The Black man is about to destroy what Whitey created in 232 years. And the MSM, is s—t out of luck.

We tried to tell them to be honest, wake up and be critical so the plans of this guy could be known in advance. All they could do is give him a donkey to ride in on, and palm fronds to ease his path.

Long may the MSM be screwed in what used to be the home of the free.

Obama is going to need that civilian military on the ground in the U.S. sooner rather than later, at this pace.

Hmmm. When did I completely stop watching television...maybe about 6 years ago? ...wasn’t anything on but chirping “news” chicks convicting suspects by “feel” and other pathological material for the minds of marching morons.

Do networks have the ability to decline?

I vividly remember a few weeks after 9-11 when President Bush had a prime time address to the nation and CBS decided to air "Survivor" instead.

I remember it so clearly because we had a discussion about CBS's decision the next day at work (should they or should they not have aired the President). This was just weeks after 9-11 and programs were just getting back to normal schedules.

It is physically impossible for us to get local channels, either over the air or by satellite (we get national DirecTV satellite but their local-channels satellite is behind a mountain so we can't "see" it.)

We win.

And we used to worry about the Clintons, back in the day.

The more I think about it, the more I believe that all that went before was just Socialist farmers, preparing their fields for the planting and harvest.

They never stopped, not for one minute. I got tired of the inevitability of it all last year, until Palin.

We owe a lot to Sarah, for literally forcing the media to declare for Obama in such a compressed time frame (the months of September and October).

No thinking person can deny that the media donated tens or hundreds of millions of dollars worth of free advertising to Obama. It may have even gotten to ten figures.

I'm hoping that the forces that the Socialists set in motion may be too difficult for them to control. They're arrogant enough to be fooled by their own apparent "mastery".

Date Set For Obama’s First Address To Congress (what’s your schedule for then)

President Obama has been formally invited by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to address a joint session of Congress for the first time on February 24, 2009.

The date was confirmed by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs while en route with the president to a town hall meeting in Fort Myers, FL this morning. The president plans to continue to push his Economic Reinvestment and Recovery Package at the meeting.

THERE WILL BE MORE

Good reporting!

Just sent the link to a a friend who is a Bama-voting Upper East Side ad exec, asking him to “add” up how much this will cost him.

The march goes on, I have expected something like this. It’s also a matter of time before they go after the internet as well. People who have power share one quality with those who are super rich, they never have enough of it and at some point they decide to play god. When they do, people get hurt or killed. Obama seems to be one with megalomaniac tendencies. I would not want to be a member of his administration, like those around Stalin, life expectancy could be short.
