For all intents and purposes, this is an ultimatum from the STATE of Pakistan, the message being delivered by the unoffical minions of the Pakistani Army.

That was true in the Taj, where rich Gulf Arabs were seperated.
Jihadis know who butters their bread.
However, at the scene of the biggest massacre, the Railway Terminus, more Muslims were killed than the much ballyhooed Westerners, a few who were killed in the Taj.
The saddest story was the family of 7 muslims who were killed at the terminus leaving one young boy orphaned . I remember this story was page 2 in all local papers .

India is taking everything too easy .
I’m looking forward to the day when India gets angry and pounds some terrorists in a way that they won’t forget.

Since practically speaking all Muslims in India are descendents of those forced into Islam, there is little to distinguish them from other Indians other than dress or other similar ways.

You are talking reality and facts.
But, the viewpoint in the Muslim community is different; a large family I know here, Shias, Bohras, maintain they are descended from Yemeni traders!
Pakistanis in particular have a meme that maintains they are descendants of Strong Warlike Arabs and in some cases Persians, not converts from effete Hinduism and Hindus.

Hey a classmate Sara bi who was a Bohra told me the same thing when I attended school in Arabia .
They (Bohras) have been increasingly inculcated into a mindset where they disdain their Indian roots and maintain the Yemeni story.
Your account is confirmation that the Leaders of the community are pushing this line.
This man’s parents don’t buy this line, but he is adamant and is propagating it to his kids and all the other young community members.
And the Bohras are some of the most modern, well assimilated and very successful in business, both in the UK and the US.
Essentially, they are self ghettoizing themselves in the US, disdaining contacts with non Muslims of all stripes.
They would prefer them strongly not to. And you’re correct in that they disdain not only other Muslims, not only Sunnis, but other Shias as well.
However, love and romance do bloom and I’m sure there are some that do stray, but as a rule, the community is remarkably cohesive in matching up Bohras, at their yearly conclaves and so forth.
Wonderful thing is right. As in the Mahabharat, when Yudishthir was the last brother who didn’t drink the poison water, and subsequently answered the questions of Dharmaraj correctly.
He was asked (among other questions): What is the most wonderful thing?
