You are right. I had it backwards. It was the scenes of the aftermath of the Hindu mobs attacking Muslims in revenge for the Muslim attack on the train. A lot of bad blood there. My question to you is do you think the Muslim's attitudes in India have changed from the Muslim's attitudes from when they opted to stay with India after their Independence.

After the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai the muslims protested the attacks and did not allow any terrorist to be buried in any muslim cemetery within the country.
The Muslims also toned down the eid celebrations as a mark of respect for the loss of life .
See the thing is muslims died too and they have declared that they will put the country first here .

No, you had it right the first time as well. But it was during the partition rather than Gujarat. There was a slaughter during the exodus of refugees on both sides of the border. Trains were arriving in Lahore with thousands of corpses on them, the passengers having been slaughtered and mutilated en route. All aboard the rape train.
