Weren't people paying any attention to this man during the campaign? He said that he would close Guantanamo, that should've been a clue to his stance on how he would treat terrorists. It is infuriating to hear people now express chagrin and regret, when even through the media wall of protection, these things were clearly known. And now we are all stuck with him for God knows how long, if we retain even a semblance of freedom after he's finished.
