His name is listed opposite Rush but they haven’t put his mug shot up on the scroll yet. I thought that time slot was going to a previous presidential GOP candidate.

The two things I notice that set him apart are, if I recall, he has had standing offers to various conservatives (any or all of the Republican contenders, if ‘conservative’ could be applied to them) to come on and he is pretty good about letting his guests say more than 15 seconds soundbytes. He's also into fishing and hunting and not a complete doofus on guns. Not that I agree with his politics by a long shot but he's head and shoulders above any of the other lib talkers and doesn't cut callers off quite so quickly and rudely as some hosts.

He's also into fishing and hunting and not a complete doofus on guns. He used to do sports, now he took up Lwing politics because he is an opportunist. His greatest hunting exploit came when he shot his own dog while pheasant hunting. As for not being a doofus on guns, wait until Obama/Biden/Pelosi gun control comes up.
