The Senate has passed an $838 billion economic stimulus package with a vote of 61-37. The Senate bill as it stands allows for the hiring of illegal aliens. The House and Senate will now confer to come up with a unified proposal that will then need approval from both the House and Senate before being sent to the President.

Can someone explain why we would give jobs to illegal aliens when there are so many Americans out of work? I am having a hard time figuring out who we are trying to stimulate.

The Dems refused to hear Sessions amendment to require E-Verify for federal contractors on large construction jobs, etc.

To summarize the Obama plan:
- Whatever goes upon 2 legs is an enemy.

Alright! That that is what I call a stimulus! See - jobs really will be created with a bajillion bucks in new unconstitutional and immoral spending - jobs for thousands of illegal immigrants! Awesome! I guess those folks won’t be worried about where their next meal or car payment, or housing payment will be coming from. Leave that to the real Americans...

Of course they don't want E-Verify, E-Verify works. Politicians do not want Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration doing their jobs.
E-Verify had a few kinks in the beginning, but all that can be said is: E-Verify works.
