Folks in Kentucky and other areas in the south, still coping with the death and devastation of an unusual ice storm several weeks ago, suffered more destruction yesterday as powerful winds swept through the state causing more destruction. In Oklahoma, a hurricane roared through a few days ago, killing at least nine while also causing severe destruction in its wake.
And where was President Barack Hussein Obama (D) during all this? Where were the media documenting Mother Nature's tragedies in peoples' lives? Were they blaming President for ignoring their plight; for being indifferent to their suffering?
Why no, because President Obama does appreciate the difficulties the citizens of this country face dealing with these disasters as this White House blog, posted last night, demonstrates his concern back in Washington DC.
Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 at 8:28 pm Digital delayed The estimated 6 million consumers who rely on analog TV signals now have a four month reprieve.
President Obama today signed the legislation delaying the mandatory conversion from analog to digital signals from February 17 to June 12.
"During these challenging economic times, the needs of American consumers are a top priority of my administration," the President said in an official statement.
Just the reassurance the good people of Kentucky and Oklahoma need. No wonder the media people are not complaining.
WTH, they’re southern and they’re probably whites, there’s too many whites in this country now, Hussein is trying to remedy that.
A hurricane? How about a tornado???
Where, oh where are the “I won” approval numbers?
Obama hates THOSE PEOPLE anayway. They are the typical, bitter clingers that he spoke of on the campaign trail. So as their entire lives are uprooted and very souls shaken they can rest assured that Obama has been busy guaranteeing them another 6 months of analog Broadcast from their governments favorite PRAVDA big three.
DON'T LOOK, ETHEL!!!! I don't think they have hurricanes in Oklahoma.
Heck, even George Bush couldn't do that!
That’s right!!!!
American Thinker has a great article by Rick Moran”
Obama hates white people and wants them to die

The problem is as long as Republicans refuse to get out front and call Obama and the dems out on it the truth of the matter won’t make it to the squishy middle that elected the Fool in the first place.
He doesn’t want a Katrina on his watch.
"Hurricane? Nope. In this part of the Country they're called typhoons!"
"Hey Emanuel, remind me again what the vote results were. Kentucky 57-31 for McCain? Okay, and Oklahome 66-34 McCain?? Shee i+! F**k them rednecks and hillbillies. What time is my ACORN meeting?"
Well, I lived in Miami for ten years, and I now live in WV. We also had that "hurricane" yesterday evening. I've been through hurricanes and frankly I couldn't tell the difference. The rain was horizontal and blinding and the wind was so hard it was pulsating the plateglass window at Captain D's where we were dining. Some businesses lost their signs.
I am sickened by this. I hope the blue states think he will react any differently if they get hit. They’ll probably sit back and whine “But I voted for youuuuuu”
Obama and the democrats do not care and fail to respond to people in Kentucky and Oklahoma.
While Obama still campaigns for a bill that has already passed, people suffer.
Obama Super Bowl partied while folks had to drink out of streams.
He doesn’t want too many blacks being born alive either. That is why he supports abortion for any woman at any time.
OK, maybe it's me, not the author of this piece that is the moron. I was under the (perhaps mistaken) impression that there are some fairly precise geographical and weather conditions that create hurricanes, as opposed to tornadoes.
I was also under the (perhaps mistaken) impression that a journalist from a publication titled "American Thinker" would be aware of that.
But then, I didn't live in Miami for ten years, so maybe it's just me.
Ouch! A bit of thin skin I see. I was not implying that it WAS a hurricane, I meant that it looked and felt like one. Of course we don’t have hurricanes here. We can sometimes get some powerful storms however. This one had gusts up to 75-80 MPH. That is not peanuts. There was wind force damage to structures and trees. Nope, I couldn’t tell the difference between what we had and a hurricane, except it was over much quicker. Now, get off your highhorse, bless your little heart.
Or it’s another example of the MSM double standard...
If you choose to defend shoddy journalism, that's fine.
Have a pleasant evening.
