What is so utterly infuriating about this is that the townspeople, the natives, will be paying taxes to subsidize the existence of these outsiders, while they watch their town turn into something they don’t want, their housing costs rise, their children’s schools being converted into schools that cater to non-English speakers, their doctors’ offices and clinics overrun by those whose bills may or may not be paid and all of this for which they were never given a choice, or an opportunity to vote for or against. I grew up in southern California, and I don’t remember my parents ever voting to be overrun by the dregs of Mexico or by Armenian refugees. I certainly was never asked my opinion. And in the case of Shelbyville, in a few years, we will be reading how the children of these people are disappearing, only to turn up fighting for jihad in some Middle Eastern hell hole. Thanks elected officials. You’re really looking out for us.

I didn’t think about their children. That is a good point. Some of them probably WILL end up fighting with the Islamic terrorists against the very country that gave their parents some hope.
