Just compare: Bush vs Jean Francois Keirrie' and Fat Albert; Cheney vs anybody on the left; Reagan vs anybody; Nixon vs every 'rat from Stevenson to McGovern.

And they reserve their affections for effete epicene androgynous metrosexuals: in the liberal world Alan Alda is king. Or queen. Or something.
