It's another call for public service from President Barack Obama.
He says all Americans should help out in their communities. That could mean reading to children or repairing basketball courts.
The basketball-playing president taped a message for Sunday night's NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix. The White House released excerpts ahead of the broadcast. Obama's taped message will air at halftime.

I would be most interested to know Barack Hussein Obama’s service pedigree. As an active Volunteer in several communities I believe in the importance of service. And I do not view being a Community Organizer, a Senator or a President of the United States as being valid “Services” to the community.
I’m confused.
Is His message: “Start an orderly line at the door for your government handouts”
or is His message: “There’s no such thing as a free lunch. You get your government handouts AFTER you’ve joined the Civilian Patrol and have snitched on your neighbor”?
Service is the Liberal codeword for SLAVERY.

I can’t wait for the reaction from the homeys to Zero’s plan for 18-25 year old youts to serve 2 years in “community service”.
Why don’t the young men he is targeting in this message read to their own kids, play basketball with their own kids, and support their own kids? That would go a long way to fixing many problems in this country.
If 0bama doesn’t mind too much, I have to find a job first and keep my house.
Oh, I don’t know. If it means giving them guns and telling them to disarm law-abiding citizens, I think they’d enjoy it.
He’s a lazy POS. Hell would freeze over before I did one thing except to make plans to circumvent everything he puts into effect.
He is the most despicable, worthless piece of sh*t on the face of this earth.
No problem. How about no charge for sighting in rifle scopes at dem congressmen?
Or it could mean forming a local Sons of Liberty chapter with fellow Conservatives...

Even in these difficult times, volunteers donate their limited resources to better their neighborhoods or strengthen a cause. We continue to see that energy and commitment to service across various events on USAservice.org.
If you haven’t done so recently, take a moment to find a volunteer opportunity near you. This weekend alone offers hundreds of opportunities to get involved with. It could be your first time or maybe you’re a returning volunteer that took action on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there’s a role for everyone to play in service to your community.

I tried to volunteer to make Buck Ofama signs but City Council turned me down.
If you have an income, you are forever a servant of the state now that porkulus is about to be signed into law.
That’s what really galls me. We slave our asses off to pay the government, then he wants us to be unpaid servants to the “community.”
Militia might not be a bad way to serve...
I do. Unlike most of the crooks on his staff, I pay taxes.
