Interesting site to keep in mind. Hussein is a worshipper of Saul Alinsky, another con-artist passing as a politician.
Actually The Posse Comitatus Act has been so watered down over the years due to "the war on drugs" that I doubt if they would even pay attention to it anymore!
I doubt if U.S. Troops would fire on their own citizens... With that said; one "maneuver" that the government has been doing for a long time is stationing soldiers out of their "home" states... so should "civil unrest" take place, someone from say... New Jersey would feel no loyalty to citizens of California, if you get my point.
What good did a farmers flintlock musket do against one of the most professional armies in the world? Defeated them!
It all depends on the motivation of the person holding the handgun. ;-)
Posse Comitatus is federal law, enacted after the Civil War, not part of the Constitution.
And there is absolutely nothing stopping federal "law enforcement" from being just as well armed as the "official" military, becoming an internal army in all but name.
If Obama decided it was necessary to "maintain order", what's to stop him from recruiting the Bloods, the Crips, and the Mexican Mafia into an armed "Federal Emergency Revenue Collection Agency"?

My house is a “bug-out bag”, and so is my neighbors, and his neighbor, and his neighbor etc.. Our small very rural community will NOT tolerate the Zer0’s “security Force” in any way, shape or form.
The end.

I’ve always agreed with this thinking. However ... things get weird enough all they have to do is isolate military members, take away their computers or filter content, feed them a line of BS about ‘the mob’ and they’ll do what they’re told.
Thought about that too ... I believe troops would fire back if fired upon. I also believe they would be used for crowd control. But I think it would be the national guard that would be used not the military .... most likely too cops dressed up in SWAT uniforms playing at being real soldiers ....
Not yet!

They are for show, never intended for battle. Like dress uniform.
Against an army in the field? Very little.
In the hands of somebody who can get near the right people? Potentially quite a bit. This is why tyrants fear handguns. See the Battle of Algiers for a case study. One advantage of handguns is that they are easier to stash and to smuggle into places.
Possibly, but most Guard Units are stationed in there home states and would not likely fire on their own friends and relatives...
I pray you are right. In normal times it would be a given. These are not normal times.

I hope they wear those precious little gay blue helmets when they do come.
That’s why I believe most incidents would be happening on a state level where the guard would be used - I can’t see Zero ordering the military in force into a state ... states rights and all that ... remember Katrina where Bush couldn’t send the military in to help unless the governor requested them? I think Zero will get real instruction on the Constitution if he tried that ....
Well Lincoln did send in the military during the draft riots in NYC during the Civil War ... (Just read “Gangs of New York”).
