Obama delays signing 'urgent' stimulus for Chicago fun

After telling the nation it was so urgent to pass the stimulus bill there was no time to even read it, President Obama took off for Chicago with wife Michelle, to dine at a fancy Chicago restaurant and spend the night at home in Hyde Park for Valentine's Day. The Bill will just have to wait for him to sign it next Tuesday.

How to explain this odd behavior? Was this a calculated move? What could be the thinking behind it?

Obama and his advisors are no doubt counting on the press to avoid noticing the contradiction between the alleged urgency and taking time off. This neglect is a necessary precondition for all that follows.

Will someone please make a note of this “hurry up and wait mentality” of Obama and at least mention it the next porkulus he mandates? His Haughtiness mandated that the Congress HAD to sign that thing without reading it. Now, he dawdles in signing it, it was SO urgent. - It’s all about Obama flaunting his total control. - Does anyone really think some URGENT emergency or the other won’t cause us to most likely never have another Presidential election UNLESS the “messiah” is assured a hundred percent of winning?

This “stimulus” bill is a slap in the face for any hard-working American capitalist.

He gave our money to entities and institutions that are, in many cases, diametrically opposed to capitalism. This is reckless and immoral.

But today’s American is fat, dumb and happy and likely won’t even bother to consider all of the implications and consequences from 0bama’s bill.

Just look at all the Democrats have gained by creating economic problems—why would they want it to get better?

Socialism is not about prosperity it is about power, control and championing mediocrity—it is CLEARLY un-American.

TODAY’S DEMOCRATS ARE OUR NEW DOMESTIC ENEMIES—UN-AMERICAN, PERIOD!

It’s time we called them out as such and treated them as such.

Now, if we can only find enough men who will stand up to them.

Ooops, the News Cycle is closed until Tuesday so I guess Armageddon can be postponed until then. A full fledged across the spectrum broadcast of the signing is no doubt in store for us all on Tues.

It is all about the News Cycle. The Bill was not passed until late Friday and Monday is a Holiday. So Tuesday is when he'll sign it. So much for ‘not a day's delay’ being acceptable, eh.

Clinton isn't available. Papers this important should be signed at the White House, VEDIO TAPED. If obozo doesn't need the White House than why should we pay the bills for

I don't think bozo could read or understand one word in that package. He's like a puppet, he's told what to say and he repeats it over and over again, each time he gets a little better at it. He's a con man and he's there for the photo ops.
