If the best he could do on it was 10th, why would he want it back?

It’s not opulence to have the top of the line gear if you’re the top of your field. Should we hate Matt Kenseth for having an expensive car? Should we hate Joe Perry for having custom while you and I are strumming away on Squiers? No, because Matt Kenseth needs a top of the line car to make his money and Joe Perry needs a Les Paul to make money.

“Tired of her liberal crap”

It’s her stink he can’t stand. Her ‘one sh*t paper’ policy per visit did it.

He finished 10th on his regular road bike, not the time trial bike. Given the aero advantage of a TT bike, which many of the competitors have, he would have likely won the TT.

Where are you getting that? He rode his TT bike in the trials and coming in 10th isn’t that bad.

No, I think he rode his regular road bike and finished 10th. He also had a flat tire during the time trial. Had he been on the TT bike, he probably would have won due to the aero advantage a TT bike offers.

On Saturday, he came in 10th at the Amgen time trials in Sacramento on the bike that was later stolen.

Read carefully.

Thanks. I was basing my comment on the story at the link:

"On Saturday, he came in 10th at the Amgen time trials in Sacramento on the bike that was later stolen. "

You get a few bonus points on my scorecard for admitting that you were wrong. A lot of folks here won't do that even in the face of clear proof. So while your pride might be injured, your personal integrity is intact.
