The FAA did tell pilots to look out for possible debris on Saturday.

I thought space debris de-orbits very fast. What is the pilot supposed to do?

I believe this has been tied to an incident over Calgary, Alberta.ca, and a warning passed along by NORAD to Canadian authorities related to another incident not having to do with Cosmos-Iridium.

(Link HERE).

What is the pilot supposed to do?

Yes, it's ridiculous, the way the Midiots describe it, but the only real point is to determine where such debris might come down, by inference or by direct observation.
