Thank you for your post. This is true for many kids who regressed incredibly after receiving a vaccine (or 7).
I have no idea what caused my son’s autism. No one else, including his two younger brothers, has it in our family. He was my first so he got every vaccine at the recommended ages, which is several every two months from birth to 6 months old.
How can pumping NEWBORNS full of vaccines and all the media and preservatives they contain be good for our children? How the hell could it be?
It goes against maternal instinct as well as pure scientific common sense to heave each of your baby’s limbs shot up, at one visit, starting at 2 months of age, with COMBINED vaccine shots. My brain says that is just absolutely wrong.
I’d never give any vaccines before two and I’d keep all babies out of daycare and huge crowds or groups.
All I can say is that I diagnose STD's in teenagers virtually every day. My patient base is very diverse- all religions, races, ethnicities, etc. It's the reality I deal with every day. Of course, not every unmarried woman is sexually active but I get called regularly by docs who tell me that their patient swears she never had sex and yet I diagnosed an STD and how is this possible. My response (once I confirm my diagnosis is correct) is that people are often not honest when they tell you their sexual history. It's just a fact. They lie to their partners, they lie to their doctors and they lie to themselves. And I also point out that not all sex is consensual and women who are abused often are reluctant to tell anyone.
I realize that chicken pox isn't as much of a problem as other diseases but, as others have pointed out, it doesn't always follow a benign course. I think on balance the benefits of vaccination far outweigh the risks.

Well, when you are cruising a MySpace or Facebook page, you know what kids are doing. I know who smokes, who smokes dope, what they have tried and what they haven’t. I know who is sexually active and who isn’t by what they write to each other.
No, they are not going to tell you or a doctor. But they will tell their friends.
Like I said, you have faith that every girl is sexually active. I know for fact that it’s not true.
No, and the vaccines don't always follow a benign course, either. The gap between the risk of the vaccine and the risk of the disease as a child for Chicken Pox is fairly slim and the risk of either is lower than the risk of getting hit by lightning. And need I point out that parents make all sorts of choices for their children, from putting them in a car to letting them go outside when it rains, that carry a far greater risk to their children than not vaccinating them does. If that low level of risk justifies government mandates in the name of safety, then the government is justified in controlling our entire lives.

The research done before the vaccine was widely mandated suggested that the cost and risks of the vaccine did not outweigh the medical costs and risk of just letting children get Chicken Pox. The only way you get a cost benefit is if you include the cost of parents staying home with their children and ignore the potential long term risks (e.g., loss of immunity) from the vaccine. And like I said earlier in the thread, if you feel the benefits outweigh the risks, by all means vaccinate your kids. But it's the height of arrogance to tell other people what to do with their children when the risks in question are so very low. I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your children but you are trying to tell other people what to do with their children.
I have a two year old, now a days, they give 4-5 vaccines at every 3 month checkup. I wont allow my kids to get them until they are older and their immune systems are fully developed. Even at this time, I have them a little more spread out. Any more, they are rolling vaccines off the shelf at such a high speed that you have to wonder if they had time to study them. There are some serious questions, you just have to do the best you can with the knowledge you have and pray the God will take care of the rest.
agreed.. folks I work with, who came down with the flu in the last 2 months.. all 3 of them, refuse flu shots, (because they all know someone who got the flu)... interesting, how it’s always someone else who got the flu from it..
idiots... I try to explain, that it’s not a “live” virus... does no good...
so they suffer...

It'd be much smarter to get a few vaccines in the kids at a time.
What makes you say that? Is there something specific with childrens' immune systems that make them more sensitive to vaccines?
So you are saying that if you raise your kids properly, they will NEVER make mistakes?
If your son or daughter has a dishonest bride or groom ... that isn't my fault. At that stage both should be honest with each other if they are about to be married.
But people make mistakes, and you are willing to write off the life of a young girl.....why exactly?
You can hunt and peck for all the follish red herring you like but all you accomplish is looking like the irresponsible clown you are.
