Unemployment in my county topped 11% two weeks ago. Meanwhile Zero is treating my governor (Jenny “the depressionator” Granholm) like some kind of financial wizard.
The worse things get the more Granholm wants to raise taxes. Smokers are going to love the latest. Taxes drove a lot of people to rolling their own at a fraction of the cost. Now taxes on a $20 bag of tobacco are going up by $25.
I grew up in Michigan and still love it, but the state has been ruined by the unions and Democrats. My county in Colorado is pushing 6%, but we have a few thousand new jobs coming in this year.
