WHEN Billie the madam met Eliot the politician, neither had any idea that within a couple of years the careers of both would be ruined and the tawdry bedroom habits of one of America’s most powerful state governors would be discussed in ignominious detail by comedians and chat-show hosts across the country.
In a book detailing her improbable rise from a California trailer park to a million-dollar New York apartment, Kristin Davis, a busty blonde brothel-keeper also known as Billie, the Manhattan Madam, lays bare her relationship with Eliot Spitzer, the former New York governor, who was forced to resign last year over his alleged use of prostitutes.
When Spitzer stepped down last March he cited “private failings” that were disrupting his work as governor. Despite his efforts to steer clear of the spotlight as he tried to rebuild his relationship with his wife, he was back in the headlines last week as Davis unveiled a catalogue of complaints about his “double personality: gentlemanly outside the bedroom and skeevy [sordid] inside it”.
Davis, 32, said she initially knew Spitzer, 49, as “James”, one of the biggest spenders among the more than 10,000 clients she amassed in five years of running escort agencies in Manhattan. Although he “seemed nice enough” at first, he later drew complaints from the girls that he “was getting rough and too aggressive”. Spitzer hated to use a condom and would try to trick girls into unprotected sex.

I can’t find any recent news on Silda. Seems like the internet has been scrubbed on this woman. Usually Wikipedia updates but they are way back in 2008 also.

Nope, it means I know a bargain when I see it - a quickie versus being saddled with a ball-and-chain for the rest of my life. Greater return on my investment. Besides, what else are women like that for?
