Wow. Even the Dems are screaming for him to resign. Of course he won’t. What a scum.

Yes, he got The Porkulus Bill passed, but tht will bite in the backside eventually

I was thinking that too, I was surprised when I heard Rush say Obama didn't have any of the sponsors with him when he signed the bill. That doesn't look good. He didn't help craft the bill, didn't have time to read it, and now he is taking full responsibility for it. Either he has 9 lives or he's just really lucky.

Heck, a memory like Burris’ landed Libby in jail.

Scooter Libbey never spent a day in jail. Facts are pesky things.

There’s someone Reid and Pelosi want in that seat, everyone else is threatened to backoff or are systematically mowed down including Blago for having some control of it.

In other words, Hussein told the WaPo that it was OK to act shocked and outraged.

The Washington Post added its voice Wednesday to a growing chorus of demands for the resignation of Sen. Roland Burris

This poor bastard must really be shell-shocked when even the Washington Post is calling for him to get out. Imagine, a black Democrat. It's not hard to picture the writer of this editorial being forced to write this while some harried higher-up holds the whole editorial page staff hostage at gunpoint and refuses to release them until the editorial is written and published. The New York Times will probably be next but I'm sure the inducement of some gay sex should be enough for them to fold.

Have you heard him speak? If he ran for Senator, there is no way he would be elected. He won’t resign because he can’t get another job. He was elected in Chicago because of his race, not because of his credentials. Although I dislike BO, at least he can speak eloquently, even though it is only platitudes.

What a strange world we live in . . .

A wide receiver for the Giants gets suspended from the team for accidentally shooting himself in a New York City nightclub, and just a few months later he's appointed to the U.S. Senate from Illinois!

He can’t resign!

Absolutely! At least let the man get his monument to himself updated, then they can talk about him resigning.

You mean he reads well. Take him off his teleprompter, and he falls apart.

The Washington Post wants him out. The media thinks they call all the shots. Sadly it is pretty close to true.

Yes, whoever is appointed to replace Burris, if he resigns, will be a Democrat and possibly one who could be re-elected in 2010, so in terms of votes in the Senate it makes no difference. The Democrats want him to resign because he’s an embarrassment to them.

I didn't know that. I knew Bush had commuted his sentence, but I didn't realize he commuted it before he served it. I knew he had to pay a huge fine. I lost track of the story — I really didn't mean to mislead — but Libby did go through a lot because he “disremembered.”

Illinois' senior senator, Dick Durbin, also voiced concern Wednesday, saying that "public statements made by Mr. Burris to this point have raised questions, which need to be looked at very carefully, as to the nature of his relationship with the former governor and the circumstances surrounding his appointment."

Look for Durbin to be the one who moves on expelling Burris.

I do not think so. Bro. Burris be involved in the (HABOP) Help A Bro Out Program sponsored by, Bro. Osambo. “ZINC” (ZULU In Charge)

He will get to stay in office, otherwise it will be hailed as a white supremist conspiracy trying to keep a brother down.

As long as Burris is an embarrassment to the Democrats he’s got my vote!
