A person has a better chance of living if they let the perp shoot them. If you go to the second location, you'll probably be tortured before being murdered.
If you refuse to get into the car - and run the opposite direction, there's a good chance the guy will shoot and miss - and if he does hit you there's better than a 90% chance you'll live through it. Once the gun goes off he'll know the cops are coming soon. And a bleeding victim that has to be picked up isn't much "fun". Don't get in the car in the first place. Don't park next to a van without windows in the back - could be a kidnap-mobile...
