Considering Utah, Idaho, Iowa and Tennessee. Open to suggestions.

It goes without saying that Oregon and Washington are to be avoided.

I have been wondering if anyone will apply a “blue state” “red state” analysis to how money is doled out under the porkulus bill. My hunch is that fiscally responsible red states will end up subsidizing binge spending in blue states.

Soon, the only middle class in California will be state employees, and there won’t be enough super rich paying taxes here to pay for them all.

We don’t want to do that to Florida. I live almost next door to the Florida Panhandle and that area is solid conservative. The libs all live down South in Miami, Dade and Broward counties.

The breakdown:

The 33 bills include $15 billion in spending cuts, $11.4 billion in borrowing, $12.8 billion in taxes and about $2 billion of federal funds from the federal stimulus package that President Obama signed on Tuesday.

The tax increases - 1-cent on the dollar sales tax, vehicle license fee and a slight increase in the state income tax - had been the primary reason why the plan could not garner enough Republican support in the Senate to push it over the required two-thirds majority.

Nuh huh! They certainly need less Californication and if I had to chose between the two, I’d take the Mormons.

The key here is not the money. The key is to keep the people broke and then they have control over them.

"Let the exodus from the Golden State begin!"

I just thought I'd let all those fleeing Calaforniee know that Indiana is a really crappy state. It's full of redneck clingers with missing teeth, dirt floors and Bibles everywhere. Maine would be much better and they have a beach. Oh and did I mention the a "free" health insurance Massachusetts?

Snake has been having his troubles lately. Got a DUI recently, but beat it in court. IRS has been hounding him and his Ex Wife has been in court trying to overturn a settlement he made to sell his house which she lives in. Last year, Univ. of Alabama suspended him from his Color Commentator job pending resolution of his DUI. Haven’t heard whether he will be back in 09 or not.

If we could sell our house and not lose money we’d be in Texas right now. Sadly...

Leaders also agreed to Maldonado’s demand to eliminate the 12-cent additional gas tax, which was estimated to bring in $2.1 billion through June 2010. The money will be replaced with a 0.25 percent increase in the state income tax, federal stimulus dollars and more than $600 million in line-item vetoes.

Sorry, but Maldonado did NOT cave.

Maldonado whored himself to the Rats, and his 30 pieces of silver is the Open Primaries Constitutional Amendment that they have promised him. He wants to run for statewide office, but cannot get through the GOP primaries without Democrat votes.

That said, Utah is beautiful

The view from my California yard is pretty stunning, but I'd feel like I'd died and gone to heaven if I could somehow overlook Arches or Bryce....

This budget will cost each California family approximately $1200 to $1500. There is a gas tax increase, a sales tax increase, double the vehicle registration tax, and a $200 per child reduction of the CA dependent tax credit.

Thanks, Sacramento!

One of the serious questions should be: How long before both the “blue states” and the “red states” possibly decide to separate from each other and then form their own countries, if they ever do decide to form their own countries?

Won't happen unless the areas can unite geographically.
