It’s probably bad. My brother is a dot.com millionaire, and he moved out of California a few years ago, partly but not only because of taxes. But, he’s still a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, and is now active in state politics where he now resides.

(The US has become a banana republic, except without the bananas - or the republic.)

There in lies the problem. These migrants from CA or Mass. etc are moving out and bringing with them the same looney ideas that runied those States. It’s called exporting insanity. I am just glad they haven’t discoverd the Gulf Coast and South Alabama. By the way, every Spring we spray for liberals down here.

The worse part is when this idiotic plan goes under, our taxes to the federal government will bail them out. So don't think it's only the Californians who will pay for this. It's bad enough that certain states want to be stupid and waste money, but what's worse is that we all eventually bail them out for their stupid decisions. Just like irresponsible businesses, we should be able to let these irresponsible states go under. Only then will the people get mad enough to enact real change

I’m afraid that there will be many like your brother; successful, enterpreneurs who will leave CA yet bring w/them the same politics and sensibilites that made them leave in the first place.
Go figure.
