Rick called it perfectly: the great Silent Majority in this country is going to revolt. All of this socialism is just plain nonsense. How many times does it have to be shown that this stuff just doesn’t work. Unfortunately, this latest gambit comes with a price tag that our kids and grandkids will be on the hook for for the rest of their lives.
The only thing wrong with Rick’s call to arms is that his “Chicago Tea Party” would be thwarted by the Dem bosses in Chicago.
The common denominator in all serious revolutions is a single event, act, or law that unites disparate groups---the wealthy, the middle class, and the poor, the young and old, etc. In the Am. Revolution, there were southerners, northerners, wealthy and sodbuster frontiersmen. The Russian Revolution wasn't communist at first---it united a wide spectrum of groups.
So, in my view we are getting the ground troops, but still lack that galvanizing anti-Obama/anti-Dem issue that will cause a-political people to pick up the pitchfork.
