It’s not only that, but bear markets can last a long time. We’re seeing now how bad government policies can exacerbate and lengthen a market downturn by trying to lessen the pain in the needed correction.
I have rode the market all the way down. Right now, the wife and I can live if I get out. I’m running for cover. I can see no mechanism where the market will expand or recover as long as we continue down this path. Changing direction will be impossible even if Congress becomes conservative in 2010 as never is any entitlement revoked except to us “rich folk.” Since most love something for nothing, I will be left with nothing if I do not run for the hills.
Oh, I think we’ll see 4000.
I also think he is TRYING to destroy the economy - it’s part of his plan.
Does anyone know how to buy gold? I just don’t trust the TV marketing.
