Kansas has an extremely complex 3 party system involving RINOs, Dems, and Conservative Republicans. We’ve had it a lot longer than people have noticed nationally.
The last gov was a RINO, a conservative was nominated, and in a fit, the RINO vote went to Sebelius. Voila, dem gov.

Sadly, Kansas went pro-abortion even before Roe V. Wade.

We have tried to fight back, but it is difficult. I can remember back when you were considered a “nut” if you even made the claim that ANYONE would agree to do a late term abortion in Kansas. The media has never really been honest on the subject. Tiller was under the radar screen for years, protected by the media and by the courts and by dirty politicians.

At one time, Tiller would be seen, regularly, at Republican Party fundraisers. Kicking Tiller out of the GOP was not possible, legally. But, making him feel unwelcome was a war in itself. We got rid if Tiller's clout, in the GOP, by tying GOP candidates to Tiller, and beating them in the primary races. Over time, it worked, but it was rough.

No matter your view, on abortion, what would you think of ANY politician who was in the back pocket of any industry, or any one person?

What if a person in the casino industry called the shots in your state, on casino issues?

More to the point, in an age when health care providers are constantly on the defensive, why is it that abortion providers are treated like saints, by the media and by liberals in general?

It is absurd. Your doctor is treated like dirt by the media, unless your doctor is an abortion provider!

Anyway, please support Sam Brownback, in his bid for Governor, and please support Todd Tiahrt, in his bid to take Brownback’s Senate seat.

Sebelius is telegraphing something here. Our Gov. is telling me, by her decision, that she sees Kansas going conservative Republican next year. I do not support her in any way, but she will be one of the smartest people on Obama’s staff, if she goes there. She does not want to lose an election. This is very good news for Kansas.

She might also see the pro-abortion political money drying up, if Tiller is truly in trouble. (I am dreaming now, but let me dream.)

Her family name....

And she did a good job of looking like a moderate. People also loved her fight against Anthem taking over Blue Cross as insurance commissioner since they were going to screw KS.

I cheered her on for that myself. But, no way would I vote for her......but many did.
