Not from what I saw on Scarborough this morning.
Nope, Santelli was on fire this morning as well.

I head him say on one interview that he wishes he hadn’t used that term but that it didn’t change his opinion of the plan. He’s still planning to have the “tea party”.
No change at all...just toned down a bit. He still thinks the stimulus package is garbage!
The markets haven’t recanted either; they’re now basically in open rebellion against the Commissar.
That’s not my take on it at all.
Wait till he gets the rubber glove treatment(sans lube) from the Lamestream press ala Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin....He’ll probably be singing a different tune. Hopefully not.
He didn’t recant but officials at CNBC certainly worked to “walk back” his statement. “Anchors” Carl Quantania (sp???) and Becky Quick tried to spin his remarks all morning to take the edge off, referring to a guest host’s remarks today as “Adult”.
Conservative Joe Kernan was off today. I think he wouldn’t have allowed Carl and Becky to get away with it, but who know’s? They’re all GE/NBC employees.
Just wait and see if Rick Santelli starts getting the “Joe the Plumber” treatment.
Not really. He was just sorry he used the word losers but the tea party is still on. I heard they tripled teamed him on the Today Show though.
He better take care not to end up out on the street, or worse... Behind bars for inciting a riot.
Santelli definitely didn’t recant. In fact, he used what went on yesterday to make a bigger point that you can’t just look at the people with problems which is what we’ve been bombarded with for the past few months, and make your solutions based on them. So Rick is staying strong and not caving.
