Call to action: Possible Action Items for Regional FReeper Conventions
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2188527/posts
I would be happy to organize, or help organize, a West Texas get-together to jump-start this area. If those in the Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, Seminole, others I haven't named in West Texas would contact me, well get this rolling. (However, Lubbock might prefer to be in a Panhandle group, but theyd be more than welcome in this one)
Borrowing this from nomad: As conservatives of different stripes, its our right to act as individuals, however, its this same love of personal freedom which is under attack, therefore, lets try and put aside our differences and work together to roll back this socialist assault on our way of life. A logical first step would be to establish ties at a local level,do you aggree?
God bless TEXAS!!
Freeper Organizational PING!
Thank you,I`m honored.Go to it Texans,if I were to get only one move anywhere in this country,I`d be Texas. No disrespect intended towards any other place,Texas exemplifies a bastion of rugged individualism.
You can take Austin, Dallas and Houston out of this mix and you have a very true statement. I happen to live only 14 miles from the geographical Heart of TEXAS - sure a lot of good folk around these parts. Almost all are sure keepers.
When and Where are my only questions.
Odessa is more centrally located in West Texas. Say when and where.
I don't know how much 3 of us can do, but I'm game either way. Meeting in Midland, Odessa or Lubbock is fine too, to start, then we can rotate. What do you two think?
Anyone interested in the Concho Valley Area? San Angelo, and surrounding cities?
There will be a West Texas Tea Party April 18, (Sat.) at 10am at the Viet Nam Memorial just north of the airport. Invite everyone you know. Let’s make this a huge crowd

I’m near Abilene and would go for a road trip to San Angelo.
We are having a tea party at the downtown federal building on tax day April 15.
