“Google the term “soldiers carry weight”, then tell me that I’m stupid.

The results of the search will help to explain the weight aspect of my questioning of this new technologie’s efficacy.”

My LRRP unit used to average about 130 lbs per pack and I’m sure everyone was disheartened to learn that in Desert Storm, Bravo 2 zeros LRRP mission packs started at 2009 lbs at the beginning of the mission (before caching).

What do you think that this anti sniper unit weighs (12 to 15ozs?) and it will primarily be worn in an urban environment which means patrols with lighter gear, vehicles, and garrisons close by.

OK, maybe not 2009lbs, but 209lbs.
