(IsraelNN.com) In another possible sign of a changing U.S. foreign policy, Senate Foreign Relations Committee head Senator John Kerry met Saturday with Syrian President Bashar Assad. "I believe very deeply that this is an important moment of change, a moment of potential transformation, not just in the relationship between the United States and Syria but in the relationship of the region," Kerry said after the meeting.

Maybe I'm missing something here but has anyone noticed this guy's gallivanting around over there?

Letters from Hamas to da Prez..

Meetings with various foreign heads of state..

Do we have two Secretary of States? I know he's the head of the Senate foreign relations committee, which I think is un-constitutional if it sticks its nose into foreign policy which is happening here, so is he there just for relations or something more?

And is Obama putting him up to it?

Divide and conquer. Having various competing agencies and branches hampering each other was also Hitler’s way to maintain his absolute control.

John F’in Kerry is just doing what he’s always done best, which is selling out America and sucking up to our enemies, and the enemies of freedom everywhere.

Three Purple Hearts for Three Purple Scratches.

Kerry should have been swinging from a rope for his treasonous activities.

Now, he’s happy to be Comrade 0bama’s sockpuppet.

It’s a good theory.

Or -— one of the great themes of American History has been the power struggle between the two branches - Legislative and Executive.

Can you tell me who’s really in the driver’s seat now? Is it 0 or is it Dingy Harry and San Fran Nan?

For now their goals are more or less aligned - they can each use the other to get their agendas through. At some point they may diverge - can’t say how or why but it could happen.

Is this some sort of power struggle between the two ends of Pennsylvania Avenue?

I will tell you the people I really feel bad for - all the people whose kids were killed or wounded while serving in Iraq by the killers trained, supplied and funded by our new best friends, Syria and Iran. I have never seen or even dreamed of such a treacherous sell-out in my entire life.

That Kerry forms bonds with America’s enemies is not surprise. After all, did he not privately meet with the North Vietnamese Communists and advocate their victory over ours and the South Vietnamese long ago?

And, he still refuses to allow public review of his records.

Ever since Bush took out Saddam and set up a human rights based democracy in Iraq, buddying up with dictators in the name of ‘respecting culture’ is all the rage from the Democrats.

Well, buddy up with them all you want. In the short term, it will likely save the US some problems; however, as with the US relationship with Saddam, this ‘friendship’ will come around to bite the US in the butt.

Dictators represent no one but themselves, are cruel by their very nature, and they seriously lower the standing of anyone who interacts with them. (What would you think of someone who counter Charles Manson amongst their good friends?).

In fact, interacting with dictatorships is worse than just ignoring them (Bush policy) because any contact at all bestows upon them a legitimacy they do not deserve. To take this one step further, the US is contributing to the oppression of the Syrian people by talking to their oppressors.

The Dems (and the Euro’s) have become a group of elitist snobs though, and this will not bother them anymore than Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship bothered them.

Obama is sending envoys and personal emmissaries everywhere at once, Holbrooke, Clinton, George Mitchell, now Kerry, probably to circumvent the State Department, who have their own agenda. They are mostly a-holes but they are not Obama's a-holes.

The image says fake but accurate....um...no.

He was an officer, not enlisted.

While he could (and probably did) receive bad conduct discharge or something less than an honorable discharge, officers do not enlist or receive recommendations for reenlistment.

Also, the DD214 form is used for all types of discharge, accompanied by orders, not a memo.

Just saying.
