Alan Keyes, a 2008 presidential candidate who is also a plaintiff in one of the many lawsuits challenging Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility to occupy the Oval Office, charged at a pro-life rally that unless Obama's social and economic policies are stopped, the United States as we know it is over.

Keyes' comments were part of an interview with a reporter from KHAS-TV at a fundraiser for the AAA Crisis Pregnancy Center in Hastings, Neb.

"Obama is a radical communist, and I think it is becoming clear. That is what I told people in Illinois and now everybody realizes it's true," said Keyes, who ran unsuccessfully against Obama for the state's open Senate seat in 2004. "He is going to destroy this country, and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist."

Keyes also reasserted his belief that unless the question of Obama's eligibility to serve as president is answered definitively, America may face the startling crisis of an executive branch run by a "usurper."

"Is he president of the United States?" Keyes asked the reporter of Obama. "According to the Constitution, in order to be eligible for president you have to be a natural born citizen. He has refused to provide proof.”

"I'm not sure he's even president of the United States," Keyes continued, "neither are many of our military people now who are now going to court to ask the question, 'Do we have to obey a man who is not qualified under the constitution?' We are in the midst of the greatest crisis this nation has ever seen, and if we don't stop laughing about it and deal with it, we're going to find ourselves in the midst of chaos, confusion and civil war."

Keyes, who stated he refuses even to refer to Obama as president, labeled the man in the Oval Office as "somebody who is kind of an alleged usurper, who is alleged to be someone who is occupying that office without constitutional warrant to do so."

Keyes' comments included harsh criticism of Obama's policies on immigration, abortion, and the mortgage crisis.

He concluded the interview by railing against the president's push for hundreds of billions of dollars in government economic stimulus spending.

"We are claiming that a bankrupt government can save a bankrupt banking system", Keyes said.

Alan Keys is one of the foremost orators on liberty in our time. Unfortunately his organization and campaigning skills have never been nearly enough to get him elected...but he is spot on with these comments.

Saul Alinsky on "Change"...
From Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines his strategy in organizing, writing:

"There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevsky said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution."

A Landslide Mandate For Change

Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

We need to be perfectly clear that by “stopping” him we mean using political means to stop his political agenda.

"He is going to destroy this country, and we are either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist."

"We are in the midst of the greatest crisis this nation has ever seen, and if we don't stop laughing about it and deal with it, we're going to find ourselves in the midst of chaos, confusion and civil war."

These statements are the truth of what we face. They are strong, but nonetheless true. The economic situation is being used for cover to implement the largest, most radical, and most far reaching constitutional altering of our society and its constitution in history.

Our constitution and our free market are being dismantled before our very eyes.

Is he sure Obama isn’t just someone that we disagree with, but really means well? That was sarcasm. Keyes is one of the few telling it like it is.

The country was warned that Obama is a radical. But they just did not care.

Given Zero’s behavior so far, it’s hard to believe his goal is anything less than the total destruction of the USA.

Nothing to the contrary is suggested. However, one can still recognize that the course we are on will ultimately lead to the destruction of our constitutioonal republic, chaos and potential civil war, without advocating them in the least.

Clearly, we must educate those round us as to the true nature of the crisis and problem so that the people themselves can begin the turn-around with the elections of 2010 and sweep into full effect in 2012.

I believe that is exactly what Keys is trying to help do...and he speaks the truth in so doiung.

Jim Demint / Alan Keyes 2012
Jim Demint / Sarah Palin 2012
Jim Demint / Pete Sessions 2012

or something along those lines.

We will need a STRONG, STAUNCH, UNAPOLOGETIC CONSERVATIVE running in 2012.

No more moderates. No more compassionate conservatives, No more Rino’s.

Ronald Reagan won on a STRONG conservative platform, not some wussy compassionate conservatism crap.

If the GOP puts up another moderate centrist in 2012, you'll see nothing more than 4 more years of this madness Barry and the socialist are dishin out.

Amen to that. And may we all be numbered in those ranks within our own spheres of influence. There is no telling what a few good people can accomplish as word of the truth emminates forth from them.

“Given Zero’s behavior so far, it’s hard to believe his goal is anything less than the total destruction of the USA.’

I wonder just how long before any opinion polls will reflect that.

There are some so blinded that i fear they will not see...at least not until they’ve received their stimulus ‘handout’ or some extra entitlement they expect to be given.

Since Obama’s term goes to 2012 and since we have elections in 2010, I would say that the first order of business in order to stop things from “going through” is to change a few people in office in 2010 (which is the closer date).

Bills make their way through Congress and are voted on by the members of Congress. Obama can sign or not sign them, of course, but they still have to “get to him” in the first place for him to sign them.

So, if one wants to stop legislation from getting passed, the 2010 date is a critical one, and “indirectly” affects what Obama can do.

Then, the next date to be concerned about is 2012. At that time, one has to change the “numbers” that we saw from this last election.

You have to change the votes, which were — 69,456,897 votes to 59,934,814 votes. And then you have to change the Electoral College votes, which were — 365 Electoral votes to 173 Electoral votes. And change this percentage, which was shown in the last election to be — 52.9% to 45.7%

Those are the numbers that have to change, and somehow get those people to *switch* (who did vote for Obama) to vote for the Republican ticket instead of the Democrat ticket.

If one does those two things, in regards to 2010 and 2012, then they will “stop Obama”.

I would say that *this* is the focus — and — “methodology” for stopping Obama...
