Alan Keys is one of the foremost orators on liberty in our time. Unfortunately his organization and campaigning skills have never been nearly enough to get him elected...but he is spot on with these comments.

Disclaimers such as these will keep him down too. It is the foolishness of pragmatism that criticizes true statesmen and gives bubble-headed posers swift acclaim.

I was involved in the campaign in 1996 and saw it first hand. He is a great orator, and his understanmding of the principles is unquestionable...but the disclaimers are true as evidenced by the historical record.

Alan needs to be an intregal part of this effort in the area where he excels like no other, and that is expounding on the truth of the situation as it relates to our constitutional republic and its founding principles and thus being a strong part of the overall effort to turn this around.

But that is just my opinion.
