Yet The Washinton Times' circulation is dropping faster than The WaPo's.

Is the Washington Times in serious financial trouble?

I had not heard that it is in trouble.

The Wash Times and the WaPo are not a fair comparison; that’s apples to oranges.

I’m not sure where the stats for circulation are coming from, but I don’t doubt that readerships are decreasing across the board. I wasn’t trying to put forth the notion that circulations only decrease among liberal papers.

I buy the Wash Times every now and then, simply because I enjoy the newsprint medium. My kids pick up on the paper, too. If I had one of those 3 day of the week subs I am afraid that the paper would go uncreased for 2 of those 3 days.

I often read it online.

I agree with Gondring’s assessment that it is to our detriment that the entire medium is going down, but I won’t fault other FReepers for taking a parting shot at the dinosaurs.

Many here have friends and family in theatre; the press has proven to carry water for those who would do our service personnel harm ~ directly.

If there is a little bit of spit and vinegar directed at the NYT the WaPo, the SUN, et al, I have no problem with that. Seems natural and healthy to me.
