Will The Real Monkey Stand Up! Rev. Peterson Blasts Sharpton Over NY Post Cartoon Controversy
Rev. Al Sharpton and NAACP President Benjamin Jealous—outraged over a New York Post cartoon which they claim is “racist” and that the NAACP chief says is an invitation to assassinate President Barack Obama, are calling for a boycott of The Post. Sharpton also wants the FCC to investigate the parent company News Corp. and look into its hiring practices. The Post cartoon showed the bullet-riddled body of a chimp, shot by two cops with one of the officers stating: "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill.” The Post issued an apology stating that the cartoon was meant to mock "Washington's efforts to revive the economy." Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action, Inc., issued the following statement regarding this matter:
“The Post cartoon was provocative, but not racist. And it certainly was not an ‘invitation’ to assassinate President Obama. These are manufactured allegations by racist left-wing Democrat operatives. Sharpton, the NAACP, and their angry mob of supporters want to intimidate and silence independent media outlets like The New York Post and The FOX News Channel. The cartoon was poking fun at the ineptness of those who wrote the horrible stimulus welfare package—nothing more.
“I’ve said repeatedly on my national radio show that Barack Obama was elected because of white guilt and black racism. The majority of whites voted for Obama to prove once and for all that they don’t have racial hang-ups. Ninety-six percent of blacks voted for him because of his race. We now have the first black president and his party leading our nation towards socialism; and anyone who dares poke fun or criticize are racists?
“Most blacks see racism under every rock and newspaper because they’ve never repented of their anger and racism toward whites. But this so-called boycott is not about racism; it’s an attempt to muzzle free speech. And it’s apparent who the real monkey is in this circus.”

Sharpton looks foolish when he protests a cartoon depicting a chimp, he only brings attention to himself. The stimulus was written by Pelosi and her cronies and they truly “went ape” with it.
If more blacks listened to HIM instead of race-hustlers like Rev Al, Julian Bond, the NAACP and Jesse Jackass, there would not be any racial problems. Okay, there'd be some, but greatly reduced.
And Eric Holder would have been immediately 'dressed down' by almost all blacks for HIS racist 'coward' comment of last week and he'd be looking at getting fired.

it was really pathetic to see Sharpton blathering like a baffoon today about something so obviously wrong. He is a dangerous and wicked man.
Seems to me we should be talking about race, after all, aren’t we all cowards? Why is this being shoved to the extreme by a bunch of “never held a job black activists.” (Hey, I can be just like them as I’ve been unemployed and looking for 6 months, and HAVE NOT taken a government haeadout during the time!)
I say confront it, Holder seems to think we should!
