Multiple arrests were made this morning following a three-year investigation into a violent gang operating in metro Denver.
The gang has an estimated 6,000 to 10,000 members in at least 42 states and the District of Columbia. Their threat is highest in the western and northeastern parts of the country, according to the FBI.
Members of the Salvadorian MS-13 street gang, their associates, and their sources of illegal drug supply were arrested early this morning based on two federal grand jury indictments, the Justice Department and the Metro Gang Task Force announced.

Hickenblooper and Gov. Rotter will let them go.
Can’t ask if they are here illegally, can we?/sarc
I hope they didn’t use “profiling” to catch them. If they did, I smell some bigtime lawsuits. sarc/
Sounds like it’s past time to arm up and mount up. When “law enforcement” takes three years to make 20 arrests out of 6-10 thousand thugs, it’s time for regulators.
Ping!
Obama pardons on the way...
We gotta get the filty illeagal MS13 beaners out of our country! (Yes, I said beaners!). I am sick and tired of the motherf***ers having free run of our streets.
It is a good bet that no one as brave as Cory Voorhis will be around to step up against ritter the CRITTER this time around.
Their tags are all over the neighborhood. We fight and fight it. Hickenlooper doesn't care. The neighborhoods he and the elite liberals live in are not affected by these animals. This arrest was made by the FBI- if it were left up to Hickenlooper and Ritter, they would be given a free house and a meal ticket for a vote.
Ah...that’s why so many of them were herded up to work in the ski resorts over the last year or two. I tell ya, some of our bosses are slippery geniuses and not to be messed with. Why, some of them said that they could kick the Feds’ rear ends out of Colorado any day. ;-)
Actually, they are not beaners, they are corners, in that their cuisine revolves around several hundred ways to prepare what we would call grits, with beans getting second or third billing. I live in Northern Virginia and there are several hundred thousand NON-MEXICANS here, mostly from El Salvador, as well as Honduras and Guatemala. They have very active and vocal consuls and ambassadors here who lobby heavily to make sure all their illegals are allowed to stay. Everytime there is a flood or bad storm in Central American, they get another “compassionate” stay on their deportations. Our government has ceased to serve us, and instead serves the rest of the world, while imposing on us, and charging us for the privilege.
Just misunderstood Undocumented Workers Doing Jobs Americans Won’t Do.
They’ll get amnesty soon enough. And Obama and McCain and Dubya can beam with pride at having defeated the xenophobic, racist, nativist American people.
Ritter is awful.
On so many levels.
Only 10,000 more gang bangers to go.
That is probably no exaggeration. I heard a former Weld co. sheriff say they knew of over 400 in Weld co..
shut up.
X3 Ping...
The violence from this war has spread north and is used by gangs such as MS-13, who operate as partners and foot soldiers for the drug cartels. These criminal cartels have access to weapons, finance, a US domestic support network, making them far more threatening to US national security than Al Qaeda.

Marijuana is what mostly funds the Mexican cartels:
John P. Walters, director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, said marijuana, not heroin or cocaine, is the "bread and butter," "the center of gravity" for Mexican drug cartels that every year smuggle tons of it through the porous U.S.-Mexico border. Of the $13.8 billion that Americans contributed to Mexican drug traffickers in 2004-05, about 62 percent, or $8.6 billion, comes from marijuana consumption.
