I thought Jindal’s speech are perfect. He was calm and positive, which are two things a real leader needs in times like this.

Yeah, it was a little sing-songy, but overall, I would give him an A. The substance of the speech was on point and clearly deomstrated conservative values. It was fantastic to hear him say that Americans and the country can overcome anything. I, personally, needed that.

We’re at the beginning of President Muslim’s term and by the time we really start considering 2012, this speech will be only one of many Gov. Jindal will deliver and I’m sure he’ll be more himself next time.

Personally, I think the RNC overcoached him, because he’s not typically that dull in his delivery.

You hit the nail on the head, JenB987. Gov. Jindal struck a cool balance between criticism of blatant irresponsibility on the part of the current administration, and optimism for the future of our country. Despite his serious concerns, he was calm and reassuring in a way that the current president has not been.

He was wonderful on Meet the Press.
I don’t understand the attacks on him now.
He was in a no-win situation talking after a president’s speech.
Laura Ingraham has been bashing him throughout her program today. She always seems so cruel and childish in her criticism.
I heard a clip of Chris Matthews laughing and saying the Republicans “outsourced the rebuttal speech”
Why aren’t we calling him out on this implied racism?

This is what we always do...we eat our own.
No wonder this man isn’t interested in running for the WH.
