I just want to say something about the proposed preventive health care initiative.

Do you realize that many (millions) of people never go to a Doctor unless required? Now think that if all those individuals went to the Doctor every few months (or every month) for checkups, tests, etc. Do you really think that the total costs of health care will be lowered!

Sorry, but not only do I not agree with some of the stupid assumptions regarding preventive care but I think that they will bankrupt the country if enacted.

Sorry, but most of us, including all of the young and usually healthy individuals do NOT need to be spending their money on “MAYBE” health care. Their are a few instances of catch it early that will be helped, but for the majority, it will be useless.

Me, I haven’t been to a Doctor for over 40 years and hope for many years more. If I do go to a Doctor, it is a major event - not flu, cold, or some other stupid reason.

We have to eliminate the possibility of universal health insurance since it really is keyed to the elderly (of which I’m one). There is absolutely no need to drown our children with elderly health costs! GO AWAY you stupid government and health idiots.
