The Republicans sat on their hands and didn’t clap many times during the speech. Anymore would have been disrespectful to the office.

I suggest you folks need a new TV.

They occupied the upper left quadrant of the screen from Obama’s perspective btw.

my 36” HDTV plasma showed everyone standing and clapping a number of times. especially early in the speech. and he shook just as many hands on both sides of the aisle when he walked in and out. that wasnt just courtesy to the office, imho.

When the man elected to uphold the Constitution of the United States proceeds to piss on said Constitution, he himself has disrespected the office and thus deserves not respect, but scorn.
