MSNBC Introduction for Gov. Jindal: 'Oh God'

Maybe he got a thrill up his leg.

Following President Obama's first address to Congress on Tuesday night, an MSNBC host or producer was caught muttering "Oh God" on the air as Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal walked toward the camera to deliver the GOP response.

The remark was heard after "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann interrupted the network's political panel to introduce the Republican governor.

"Chris [Matthews], stand by, Rachel [Maddow], stand by, we're getting that cue from Baton Rouge where Governor Jindal of Louisiana is set to deliver the Republican response to President Obama. It is entitled 'Americans Can Do Anything.' Here's Governor Jindal," Olbermann said.

As the picture showed Jindal walking toward the camera, a hushed voice -- believed to be Olbermann's or Matthews' -- said, "Oh God" as others were heard laughing in the background

At least back in the time of Lincoln newspapers were up front as to what parties and ideologies they supported. Nobody tried to give the opinion that they were objective.

Direct TV has a wonderful little feature that lets you block unwanted channels. I’m sure this can be done with cable as well. I did mine last year. If the readers of this post haven’t blocked MSNBC yet, please tell me why not?

I wonder if all 10 people watching MSNBC at the time even heard it.

“Clowns”

It’s like high school all over again. That’s the maturity level anyway.

Why block a channel that I never watch. That would require effort that I am not willing to spend on them. Besides, I want the option to tune in when they announce that they are going off the air. The 4 people that watch them can’t live forever.

So you expect anything different from MSLSD?

That is one dungheap of a “news” channel.

Because when I need to remind myself of how bad it can get, I just turn that on.

I watch msnbc whenever I need a good laugh, since they are more hilarious than Comedy Central.

Can’t wait until Jon Stewart is named as another anchor to support Chris, Keith and Rachel. That would make 4 hours of non-stop laughter!

You must be getting a real orgasm in superiority by watching that bunch. Sort of like visiting a mental hospital.

I've spent the majority of my professional life working in hospitals, 2 of which had large psychiatric units, so I feel qualified to discern between mental illness, stupidity and humor. I don't laugh at the first two.

I take it, then, that you don’t subscribe to the notion that liberalism is a form of mental illness?
