I think that it is not going out on a limb to state that most Texas LEOs will simply refuse to enforce the law, and then only when someone actually does something wrong with a gun on the prohibited list. Most of the ones I know HAVE such guns, and not only won't enforce the law but will actively fight it as victims. Hell, Texas may secede over something like this. Let's see Eric enforce his laws against a state with 40 million guns.

It’ll be interesting to watch, that’s for sure. As an interesting historical comparison, the last time teh ATF was in deep doodoo and decided they needed a splashy bust (code name “Showtime”) the result was Waco, and the state was...Texas.
