WASHINGTON (AP) -- He's not being timid, that's for sure.
President Barack Obama's first federal budget lays out the most far-reaching agenda for American life since Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society." But paying for it by having upper-income earners shoulder much of the cost is already provoking cries of "class warfare" in Congress.
The Obama priorities reflected in the $3.6 trillion budget guarantees a fierce political battle ahead over taxes. And it assumes a fairly quick economic recovery from the worst recession in decades.
The budget outline includes ambitious initiatives on energy, health care, education and climate change. It would boost taxes on the wealthy and cut Medicare payments to insurance companies and hospitals to make way for a $634 billion down payment on universal health care.
Predictably, Republicans complained, much as they had done during last year's presidential campaign, that Obama was pitting the haves against the have-nots.
His budget would benefit lower-income Americans at the expense of the wealthy and businesses, critics claim.

Limousine liberals love big government because buying regulatory favors for fun and profit is cheaper and safer than making a profit in the marketplace. They can use their foundations to do it tax-free. It's "charity."
The Left has learned to capitalize on one of humanity’s darkest impulses...envy. They’ve successfully made a virtue out of it. They can live like aristocrats, while keeping that emotion stirred up in their stupid minions.
I encourage everyone to cut donations to charity.
I would have to agree completley with exist. The country is so liberal that the sheeple that follow them have no clue what they are supposed to believe. CNN is confusing them into beliefs which they will believe because they are told too.
I love how they point out just a small fraction of what is in there....they always fail to mention the millions/billions going to Universal Healthcare (which will eventually drive all taxes up) and the other welfare type programs.
I recently found out that VA is taking the money it gets from tickets and putting it into some kind of "literary fund." Now, I ask you why are they doing that when they say they need money for roads and teachers and......

The problem is that maybe in Czarist Russia or France during the reign of the Louis’ there was royalty, this is theft...there is no Bastille or Winter Palace to decry.
America was founded by people, not a monarchy.
They are Leftists who want us under Communist rule, and they will be the ruling class.
That is the entire premise of Obama's bible aka "Rules for Radicals" by Saul Alinsky. It's the "community organizer" organizing the "have nots" against the "haves". His last effort an "organizing" culminated Nov 4, 2008. Now had has the ability to destroy the country.

Envy is a foundational pillar of the ongoing Leftist attack strategy. No....that is wrong. It is THE cornerstone of their entire diseased edifice.
Obama is increasing your involuntary "charity" rates while attacking your previous ability to itemize your charitable contributions. It isn't that you aren't being charitable. The government is confiscating it from you and deciding who is worthy of receiving the "charity" confiscated from you.
