WASHINGTON (AFP) – Former US president George W. Bush next month is to give the first of at least 10 speeches on a tour that will take him to Canada, Europe and Asia, a source familiar with his plans said Wednesday.

"He currently has 10 events scheduled over the next year, including Canada, Europe and Asia, and more are likely," the source told AFP on condition of anonymity because the former president's travel plans were not public.

I hope these are carefully controled events so they do not turn into hate-Bush media events for the rabid left.

God Bless Dubya!

Well, great but I hope this time, if someone throws a shoe at him, he’ll beat the s**t out of the guy - on camera! And if he rakes in a lot of $$$, let’s hope he puts it in the Caymans or Switzerland or hides it in Borneo or somewhere - The One’s goons will SO confiscate that loot, Laura will have to do her own laundry! (Which I’m sure she already does now...)

So Bush is going to speak up now that he will be paid to do so.

Of course he remained silent while the communists he left in the Federal government eroded my God given rights.

Thanks, Jorge.

“Former US president George W. Bush next month is to give the first of at least 10 speeches..”

The man was silent for 8 years without defending himself thereby causing general obamania in this country. And now he is making speeches? More lucrative for him to open his mouth, I guess.

Good for him!

I miss Bush, but not the saccharine, sycophantic, and frankly embarrassing “Day in the Life” threads that used to be on this site.

Who needs ipecac when you have stuff like that? Ugh.

With every passing day that Obama occupies the “Braunes Haus” (double entendre) the legacy of President Bush becomes more and more evident. The disastrous four years that lie ahead will make the Bush’s Presidency seem like Shangri-la.

I would advise Bush to stay out of Canada. He will never convince the left.

Plus some bitch is already talking about prosecuting him there.

You are exactly correct. Bush and his surrogates hardly ever fighting back against the constant lies and attacks from the left against him personally, his administration, and the War on Terror, are some of the major reasons we are currently saddled with Commissar Zero.

He and the idiots in his administration let the domestic Fifth Column and our foreign enemies have free reign in shaping the public discourse that ultimately molded so much of the sheeple’s attitudes, and in turn, their votes.

Under Bush the MSM lost huge amounts of market share because he refused to engage them like Clinton did in the 90's. Instead he did his job as CIC.

God bless President Bush. Looking forward to his upcoming book.

Has it ever occurred to you that this was all a setup? For Obama to have to run against a McCain was like taking candy (the presidency) away from a baby. Just wait for McCain to get his reward from 0.

Yes, all this being a setup has absolutely occurred to me. Bit if that is the case, who do you think is pulling the strings? Illuminati, CFR, etc?

I sincerely pray that you and others would cease from the Bush worship.

Bush’s liberalism is the reason 0bama’s now president. I wish Kerry had won 4 years ago, the GOP would have been stronger as a result, and less socialism would have been accomplished instead of the “Preface, Introduction and Chapter 1” of socialism that Bush gave us.

Now we’re getting Chapters 2,3,4,..... of Socialism.

The GOP will have little credibility in resisting 0bama if the socialist record of Bush is continually excused, misrepresented or ignored.
