I'm paraphrasing an argument somebody made in the last chapter. Rand had a really wicked ear for collectivist garbage. We have the advantage today of not having to make that stuff up - we can hear it in the media every day.

I'm reading Atlas Shrugged again for about the fourth time. Either Ayn Rand had a prescient vision of this day and age, or Obama and his cronies are using it as a playbook, thinking Orren Boyle and James Taggart and Wesley Mouch are the heroes. It is uncanny how she pegged the liberal thought process. Or perhaps it's just that the old adage is true, "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it."
