They see that Southern states have been more driven together because of past events than the rest of the nation. They intend to divide us (the nation) and conquer us.

I will die opposing that.

I have already accepted that ... that may be my fate as well.

>>>Gee what happened to the first amendment?

The First Amendment is not an absolute right. There have been limits placed on it. For example, laws against defamation, libel and slander; it is illegal to incite crowds to violence; obscenity can be regulated.

This POS is an enemy of the US, just as is Bin Laden.

And there was people on the left who thought the exact same thing about GW Bush. But both Bush and Obama were elected according to our Constitution and the office should be respected- especially by people in the military. If this guy really threatened the president's life, I'm totally lacking in sympathy for his behavior.

sigh.

He is their commander in chief. Can't have that. I hate it, but (going on what little bit is in the article), the prosecution is correct.

I might even agree with him in principle, but he needs to learn to keep his opinions to himself.

Very soon we all will be required to do that

He was still legitimately elected as President of the United States, whether we like it or not. Don't believe he should be President - fine. Impeach him or force him to step down. Defeat him at the ballot box in 2012. Killing him or threatening to kill him should not be an option in a civilized society.

I'm sorry, but expressing the opinion that you like to kill the president should be a protected right.

A conspiracy to kill the president, or a threat followed by some action towards accomplishing that goal is and should be illegal.

But merely stating (in this case probably in reaction to something the president had just said) that you'd like to kill the bastard is a right that all Free Men should enjoy.

The first amendment protects our right to say stupid things. Expressing what is in our hearts, no matter how vile those thoughts might be, should NEVER be a crime. NEVER!

"I just saw on the news that an Ethiopian has also been charged with threatening Zero."

The Ethiopian's case will be dismissed, he will receive a free home and will soon have his own reality show.

The Marine will be offered a final cigarette with or without blindfold.

Yes, this guy was a POS before this happened. He was previously charged with armed robbery and the threats came out while they were investigating the first offenses.

Though I don't understand how he is a white supremacist while running around committing robberies with several black accomplices.

I guess since Lee Harvey Oswald was a former Marine, and is believed to have shot Camelot Kennedy, that this guy would have been seen as a threat, especially since he blabbed about it. Maybe he never had plans to do anything, and his actions were done just to get himself out of the service. Even though he’d end up being tagged with a dishonorable discharge and possible criminal record, some people will do anything to get out of a situation.

It’s never been legal to threaten to kill anyone.

A. Your minority part is Asian, and that doesn't really count as a minority in their book (too successful, not whiny enough).

B. Forgetting "A", the Liberal term now for minority conservatives is "self-hater under the influence of Stockholm syndrome".
