Leftists are, at their core, superiorists who love to tell everyone else how to live. Collectivism and communism are appealing to them, especially so for the pompous, pontificating professorial set. They think they have all the answers to society's ills with their utopian ideals. However, as we all know, they live and work in a very insular world that is a far cry from real life.
